Malaquite Beachis located about 15 miles south of Bob Hall Pier. This is a great beach for families or people looking for rest and relaxation.
Mustang Island State Park is great for camping and surfing.
Port Aransas is located about 10 miles north of Mustang Island State Park. Great for shopping, casinos and dining.
Apart from fishing, sailing and water sports across the channel on Padre Island, there's not a great deal to do in Corpus Christi. The impressive collection of the Philip Johnson-designed South Texas Institute for the Arts, 1902 N Shoreline Blvd includes pieces by Monet and Picasso.
